Covid -19 Info for Parents

Updated 22.06.20

Dear Parents/ Carers,

I know how difficult the uncertainty of the current situation is for our families and staff and, whilst we have not been in a position to open wider as yet, we are now at a point where we can set out the initial stages of our provisional phased return.  For the health, safety and well being of our families and staff, this will be a very gradual process.  I appreciate your patience as we try to get this right whilst continuing to keep children not in school engaged and the community connected.

Our reopening plan is as follows:

  • Stage 1 - 15.06.20 and 22.06.20 Y6 pupils to return (Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 12noon)
  • Stage 2 - 22.06.20 and 29.06.20 EYFS pupils to return (Monday - Friday 9.15am - 11.45am)
  • Stage 3 – 06.07.20  Year 1 pupils to return (part time/ rota basis dependent on numbers)
  • Final stage this term - 06.07.20 and 13.07.20 2nd group of Y6 pupils to return (Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 12noon)

Ranelagh Rainbows is now full.  We have set up a 2nd small bubble of critical worker/ vulnerable pupil provision with a limited number of spaces.

Our next step is to write to parents of Year 1 and then Y6 (who have not already returned) to provide further details of what this provision will look like and also to ask parents to confirm acceptance of a place.

Thank you for your continued support,

Mrs Ling
