Make something Monday- Using any recyclable/household items that you may have make a musical instrument. Once made, using your instrument only try to perform a well-known song. Why don’t you video yourself performing the song and email or message your teacher on class dojo to see if they can guess what song you have performed.
Topic Tuesday- Our topic for summer 1 is…Space. Using the diagram below can you draw a diagram of the planets and make your own rhyme to remember the order of them from being closest to the sun.
For example: My Very Easy Method Just Speeds Up Naming Planets.
Want an extra challenge? Research the size of each planet and any other facts you want to know and label these on your diagram.
Wonderful World Wednesday- Draw a world map and label the seven different continents and 10 countries of your choice.
Want an extra challenge? Research and find five interesting facts about a country of your choice.
Therapeutic Thursday- Make a poster to thank your postman/post lady and any other delivery drivers that bring items to your house. Display it outside your front door where they will see it.

Weekly English task- Our new topic is Space, using what you already know about space and any research you undertake write a poem all about Space. This could be either a Kennings, acrostic or rhyming couplet poem.
Weekly Maths task- Each letter of the alphabet represents a letter up to 26. For example, A= 1, B = 2, C = 3 etc. With this, how many words can you make to equal 24, 48, 70 and 98.
24- Jam 10 + 1 + 13 = 24
48- Pole 16 + 15 + 12 + 5= 48
70- Stop- 19 + 20 + 15 + 16 =
98- Yours 25 + 15 + 21 + 18 + 19 = 98
