A warm welcome to Woodpeckers Class from Mrs Rodger

Hi everyone!

We are now in the last half term of the year- Summer 2!

This half term we are looking at the book 'The Trolls'. This story is based on a Troll who is looking for a goat to eat and some Pirates who are searching for treasure, they then meet each other and become friends! We will use this story to base our classroom activities to, like making Troll puppets, bridge building in the Woodlands area and role play games.

Reminders

PE - Our PE day is on a Wednesday. Please can your child come to school in their PE kit, also wearing suitable trainers or plimsoles. If it is warm then sun tan cream should be applied at home as all lessons will be outdoors. School uniform is not needed on this day. Please remember that children should come to school without earrings unless they can remove these themselves.

Please bring a water bottle to school every day.

We currently have our windows open in the classroom so make sure children have their school cardigan or jumper to keep them warm.

If you have any questions please contact me via Class Dojo or email: teacher.woodpeckers@ranelaghprimary.net

We ask all children to read at least 3 times at home every week. The parent or child can record this in their journal. We will check through these journals at the beginning of every week.
