LO: I am learning to find unit fractions of numbers.

 

Remember a unit fraction is any fraction which always has a numerator (the top number) of 1. Such as 1/2, 1/4 or 1/10 etc.

 

Below, you will find a list of fraction of number questions. Choose an appropriate SC challenge and look at the examples found below to support you with this.

 

SC1- Using anything around your house as manipulatives to help solve the questions.

SC2- Complete the questions by using the sharing method, as shown below.

SC3- Complete the questions by drawing bar models, as shown below.
