Will hot meals be available?

Yes. The kitchen will only be providing hot school dinners.  The menu will be published on the school website here


How will the lunch hall operate?

Lunchtimes will be staggered to allow children from one phase/year group to eat dinners in the hall at any one time. Classes will be socially distanced from other classes.  Some year groups/ phases will eat in their classrooms.   Children will have a 30 minute slot to eat their lunch and a 30 minute slot outside.


What time will my child eat their lunch?

These are approximate times:

Reception               12.15 – 12.45 (eat in class)      12.45 – 1.15 (outside in EYFS garden)

Year 1 and 2           11.45 – 12.15 (eat in hall)         12.15 – 12.45 (outside)

Year 3 and 4           11.45 – 12.15 (outside)             12.15 – 12.45 (eat in class)

Year 5 and 6           12.15 – 12.45 (eat in class)       12.45 – 1.15 (outside)


Will snacks be available for KS2?

No. Pupils will need to bring their own healthy snack that is low in salt, sugar and fat. Please make it clear to your child what is their snack and what is their lunch.


Will fruit be available for Reception, Years 1 & 2

Yes. We expect this service to resume in March.


Will milk be available for children?

Yes. We expect this service to resume in March. Reception children will receive free milk throughout Reception.
