Online Safety
Since schools have been closed it has become even more apparent how reliant schools have become on the internet and mobile devices to stay in contact with pupils and to support them in continuing to learn.
This also means that it has become more important than ever for pupils and parents to be aware of the risks associated with social media and the internet.
You task today is to continue developing your online safety knowledge.
Use the websites to refresh your knowledge and then create a poster to inform others. A good poster needs to be bright, eye-catching, clear and informative.
Think SMART
Safe - Don't give out personal information
Meeting - Only meet up with people you meet online with your parents
Accepting - Don't accept emails from people you don't know - They may contain viruses
Reliable - Do you know that the information you see online is reliable?
Information may not be true
Tell - If something you see online makes you feel uncomfortable, you tell someone
